| As we discussed we should extend our Part and Placeholder page types: Part >> Group, Assembly Station Placeholder >> Generic, ECO, Assembly Step |

Garth/Ash we are talking about launching products and projects and would like your feedack. Our expectation is we will do projects first and then follow up later with products. What we are thinking a project is a collection of pages. What this means is you would put pages in a project and the activities will follow. This means that the add-ins automaticlly place new activities in the right project based on the page being in the project. It would be great if you could let us know how you would like to manage projects from a UI/feature point of view. One thing we have done on the development server is to have a tab for projects (like the My Pages tab) where you can manage a list of projects and then have a filter in the dark blue area where you can set an active project (Maybe a drop down to the left of the home page that allows you to select the active project). In the add-in we would have something similar on the “All” tab where you could filter your info based on projects. So what you would do is go to a page as say relate to project / add to project and the reverse where you go to a project and say add to project or remove page from project. We would also most likely allow a page to be in multiple projects, just like an activity can be connected to multiple pages. A product would add the ability to structure or organize your pages in a BOM or Product Structure… More to come on this. But if you guys think product is more important than project let us know. Please let us know what you are thinking. |

| After reading the post by Oleghttp://beyondplm.com/2010/08/19/cad-bom-missing-links/ I was thinking aboutthe usages of the BOM. |

The location property allows you to define where the file is shared for pages that represent files. For example if you have a page for an excel file and you want to let people download the file then you can add a link to the file using the location property. DEVELOPMENT NOTE: there is some incomplete work on this property as it is availble for all page types, even pages that do not represent a file. For example this property is available for Part and Placeholder pages even though these pages DO NOT represent an actual file. This property will be removed from these page types. |

| Now an activity can be created with just a title. Before this change you had to provide a title and some post text. Now a title is the only requirement. As well the title can be changed at any point in time using the “edit” feature. |

I was wondering how the discussions for this presentation are created? I followed the link in the presentation and subscribed and then read through the discussions on the WEB… Then I cam back and installed the add-in and created this discussion from within the presentation. I must say it is very cool and would be a great way to present thinks such as FAQ to the presentation. The other thing I liked was that I could see who was getting involved. |

What has happened to the units sold? Is this dropping and if so what are the drivers to this? I expect saturation would be one driver but I also expect that the increase in space and decrease in price might off set this. Do you have any data on unit volume over time? |

You mention in this presentation that flash drives are a HUGE liability yet you provide not details, data or stats for this. What are the real liabilities of flash drives? You can find the presentation here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2772530/LOK-IT%20Secure%20Flash%20Drive.pptx. |
